She joined IBM 3 years ago, convinced by the new vision and strategy of Tivoli Software and the broad range of solutions to meet every customers needs in the current market place.

This presentation will focus on server security using our multi-layered intrusion detection and prevention technology, both on physical systems and in a virtual environment. It will show how IPS technology can be used to protect servers from growing methods of attack, manage compliancy and how to avoid downtime for emergency patching the OS and applications.
Johan Celis has over 15 years of ICT experience of which over 8 years in security. He currently works for IBM as a Security Solutions Architect for the EMEA region. In this role he manages the EMEA lab environment and Security EBC briefings.
